Terms & Conditions

    1. Every reasonable effort is made to ensure that product descriptions are accurate and up-to-date; Trendy Products UK Limited reserve the right to amend, add or remove products at any time without notice.
    2. Please note that all products are also subject to availability. If an order is placed for an item which is discontinued by the Supplier, we shall contact you to advise of this and you will be given an opportunity to amend or cancel your order.
    3. Dimensions of products are provided to Trendy Products UK Ltd by suppliers and are displayed by us in good faith; however, these are for guidance only. Please measure the area into which the product will be placed and any means of access to that place such as doorways and staircases (please see Delivery paragraph 6) before making an order. If your measurements suggest that there may not ample clearance for the product, you should contact us so that we can double-check the dimensions with the supplier.
    4. Please note for customers purchasing beds, the supplied bed slats are supplied as standard in the same size as the chosen mattress. If your property cannot accommodate slats of this size please contact us to arrange if it is possible to supply a split slat base. Trendy Products will not be held responsible for any costs incurred on an order where slats do not fit once the order has been delivered.
    5. If the goods you have ordered are in a bespoke size made to your specifications, we cannot provide refunds where the goods do not fit into the required space.
    6. Colour options and swatches are available on request and some manufacturer’s produce online colour cards, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are satisfied with the colour and finish prior to ordering.

    1. We reserve the right to periodically update prices on the Website, which cannot be guaranteed for any period of time. <.li>
    2. We shall make every effort to ensure prices are correct at the point at which you place your order.
    3. We reserve the right to withdraw any goods from the Website at any time.
    4. We shall not be liable to anyone for withdrawing any goods from the Website or for refusing to process an order.

    1. Except as already stated (please see Description of Products paragraph 1) regarding the dimensions of products, we warrant that the goods will, at the time of dispatch, correspond to the description given by us. Except where you are dealing as a Consumer, all other warranties, conditions, or terms relating to fitness for purpose, merchantability or condition of the goods, whether implied by statute, common law or otherwise are excluded to the full extent permitted by the law, and you are satisfied as to the suitability of the goods for your purpose.

    1. Goods can be delivered throughout the UK (and mainland Europe on special request). Delivery charges may vary depending on your location.
    2. The delivery charge will be displayed in your Shopping Cart at the checkout.
    3. We aim to deliver all goods within the estimated times shown on the description page for each product on the Website.
    4. For all heavy and bulky goods, you will be contacted by our delivery partners to arrange a day and time for delivery.
    5. We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If the delivery of the products is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this, we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay with your order, you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.
    6. Delivery of the goods shall be made to the address specified in the order and you should make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the goods, whenever the delivery has been arranged. Please note that you shall be responsible for all additional fees or costs, including storage and re-delivery fees incurred by us as a result of any failure by you to make the necessary arrangements to accept the delivery.
    7. If your order is for self assembly goods it’s very important that you inspect each box upon delivery as damage to the boxes could indicate that the contents may be damaged. If any boxes are damaged you must take photos of the damaged boxes AND clearly state on the Proof of Delivery form or handheld Proof Of Delivery device clearly stating the issue. Items must NOT be marked as ‘unchecked’ or ‘unopened’ or ‘not examined’
    8. If the boxes are perfect when delivered but upon opening the boxes later, you discover that some of the parts are damaged DO NOT ASSEMBLE THE GOODS. You must report this damage within 14 days of the delivery and before any assembly takes place. Please see point 17 below to report any order issues.
    9. Some orders are delivered via our 2 man White Glove delivery service, meaning that the product may be unpacked and put in your room of choice. No products can be returned without the original packaging.
    10. If the issue of concern is a flaw, minor damage or the absence of a small part of the item such as a piece of the hardware then you must contact us within 14 days of the delivery to report this. We may request that you send us photos of the issue and our team will deal your complaint and tell you how we can rectify the problem
    11. If an error was made with your order or an incorrect item was delivered, then you must contact us within 14 days so we can take action to put the matter right.
    12. IMPORTANT NOTE - the delivery team is not authorised to take a damaged or flawed item back and cannot accept returned items.
    13. If you think a large vehicle may have difficulties reaching the delivery address due to restricted access, tight corners, narrow roads, low trees, cables or building overhangs; please let us know in advance. It it is your responsibility to ensure that the goods purchased can pass through doorways, hallways, rooms and staircases and that they are free from all obstacles. If you fail to disclose access problems prior to the delivery being attempted, you will be responsible for all additional fees or costs, including storage and re-delivery fees incurred by Trendy Products UK LTD.
    14. Please make proper provisions to ensure that your property, including furniture, furnishings, carpets and flooring are protected for the delivery to take place. The delivery team are required by law to wear protective footwear at all times. They are not allowed to remove footwear when unloading the vehicle, gaining access to the property or carrying furniture into the property.
    15. We do not accept responsibility or liability for any marks or damage that may have been caused by delivery staff to customers property as a result of your failure to make proper provisions for clear access.
    16. Title and risk shall pass to you upon delivery of the goods.

  5. CANCELLATION - Before receipt of your goods:
    1. If you change your mind, you can cancel at any time before your item is delivered or sent to our delivery partners. Simply email [email protected] and we'll cancel your order and help with selection of alternative items or issue a refund or store credit. (Excluding Made to Order Items.)

  6. RETURNS / DAMAGES – After receipt of your goods
    1. In the unlikely event that your goods are damaged during transit please make sure that you fully inspect them before signing the delivery receipt as the insurance covered on the goods ends after delivery has been made. Please contact us within 24 hours and we will request pictures of the damaged goods so we can quickly investigate the cause and get a replacement part out to you free of charge. We reserve all rights on our decision to replace either damaged / faulty parts or a complete unit once we have completed our investigations – this will be done free of charge.
    2. Once your goods have been delivered and if you are not satisfied with them or you have changed your mind and you have not assembled or attempted to assemble the goods providing the goods are still in perfect condition with original packaging you may return your order to us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund (less return or collection costs set out below). Simply email [email protected] For Made to Order/Bespoke/Personalised Goods please see Section 9.
    3. Small items can be returned to our warehouse (NOT our office/showroom) at your expense. The goods must arrive in our warehouse in perfect saleable condition in order to be refunded. If the goods arrive damaged, unfortunately we won’t be able to make a refund, in this case you may be able to claim from the delivery company you used for the return. It is advisable to insure the items for damage in transit if using courier or postal services.
    4. If the item is too large for a courier or postal delivery the goods need collection, the cost payable by you will depend on your location in the UK and your availability for the collection to be made between Monday to Friday. A Monday to Friday collection may cost between £40 - £150 for mainland UK but can increase for Highlands and Islands, please contact us if you require an exact quote. The goods must be returned in the original packaging.
    5. Once you have informed us that you wish to return the goods these must be stored safely until they are returned to us. The goods may not be returned for a refund if they have been modified in any way by yourself.
    6. If you need to return an item because it is faulty or because of a mistake on our part, there will be no charge for the collection. Simply email [email protected]
    7. We can only make refunds to your original payment method. This may take up to 14 days after we have received the unwanted item back or we have collected by our delivery partner and the product is in their care.

    Exception to the above - If your order is a Self-Assembly item and you’ve assembled or partly assembled the item we are unable to accept it back for a refund. If you need assistance with the assembly we can support with advice from manufacturers or we can recommend assembly companies to assist you at your cost.

  7. MADE TO ORDER GOODS – Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
    1. In the case of Made to Order / Bespoke/Personalised goods: These items are classified as being customisable in size, finish or colour and are made to your specific requirements. You will be informed at the time of your order that your goods are Made to Order. If you wish to cancel your Made to Order goods you have 7 days from the date of order to inform us.
    2. All Made to order goods are excluded from our 14 day returns policy.

    1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our agents or employees.

    1. No waiver by us (whether express or implied) in enforcing any of our rights under this contract shall prejudice our right to do so in the future.

    1. We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of our obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, failure of any communications, telecommunications or computer system, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of our obligations.

    1. If any term or provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions hereof shall continue in full force and effect as if these Terms and Conditions had been agreed with the invalid illegal or unenforceable provision eliminated.

    1. We shall be entitled to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time but this right shall not affect the existing Terms and Conditions accepted by you upon making a purchase.

    1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England & Wales and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English & Welsh courts.
    2. Alternative dispute resolution. Alternative dispute resolution is a process where an independent body considers the facts of a dispute and seeks to resolve it, without you having to go to court. If you are not happy with how we have handled any complaint, you may want to contact the alternative dispute resolution provider we use. You can submit a complaint to The Retail Ombudsman via their website at www.theretailombudsman.org.uk or by telephone: 0203 540 8063. The Retail Ombudsman will not charge you for making a complaint and if you are not satisfied with the outcome you can still bring legal proceedings.
